Harbin Hot Springs- Death and Rebirth

Whoa~
Mama Earth...
What you are feeling, we are feeling. What you are going through is You mirroring back to us what we Earthlings are playing out in our day to day. The health of you Mama Earth is a direct reflection of the health of me, us. You sustain us and you are raging at the top of your lungs, “wake the fuck up!”
Are you listening? I mean deeply listening?
So many of us Earthlings have become disembodied from the deep felt connection with Her and it has big consequences and effects us in how we experience living in our bodies.
I had the pleasure of being the ONLY PERSON camping on Saturday night at Harbin Hot Springs. Over my 3 day stay, there were only 20 people, which in my 10 years of going there, never happens! It was a surreal experience as most of the Bay was contending with power outage and fire, I was being held and protected in Her waters, like a mother coddling her baby. It was the sweetest sentiment, and although it was so nurturing, I was feeling everything and everyone with a deep pang in my belly. I experienced a full cycle of death and rebirth: upon arriving, I looked across the valley and saw all the dead trees from Harbin’s recent fire, the air was thick and heavy with smoke, nobody in sight in the entire campground and it felt and looked as if death of a civilization had just happened. For 2 nights, there were 70-90 mile/hr winds blowing. My tent was bent and folded over almost on top of me, and the incessant sound of wind, and trees blowing left me somewhat alert. One day, I went for a walk, perched myself in the sun on a camping deck and witnessed a different aspect of rage, different than the fires, everything moving and alive, like really alive, the wind raging through the valley. It was so beautiful to witness the wild dance of leaves, the rooted yet pliable tree trunks, and in some instances not so pliable and finally notwithstanding the pressure anymore and broke free. Everything singing loudly, there was no room for any other thoughts. Chaos! Exactly, Mama Earth mimicking back to me, us, the state of affairs in our society. We’re in such crazy, chaotic times. My whole body became one big tear drop.
The final night, the winds stopped, the stars came. The following day was gorgeous, blue skies and complete stillness. There is order in chaos. Upon leaving, the heavy smoke arrived once again filling the valley as it was when I arrived. Full circle.
How do you experience living in your body? Are you listening? I mean deeply listening?
